Team Cobra has come together from various parts of the globe.. They are dedicated to raising their target goal for Help for Heroes and Royal British Legion.
John (JJ) Marshall-Redding (Co-Organiser/Driver) Mercedes G Wagen 280
John is the founder of Team Cobra and the inspiration behind our teams participation in this Help 4 Heroes event. John’s responsibility is to drive the Mercedes G Wagen and be in charge of the teams overall safety and well-being. John's role as Team Leader is to showcase the vehicle in all forthcoming events and relay the teams efforts to all media and local publications. John is a Professional Investigator and an international bodyguard. John is a true advocate for the men and women of the armed forces and is truly honoured to be a part of this most memorable experience. John currently lives in Birchington-on-Sea with his wife Janet and dog Blossom.
Nicholas (Wuggers) Greene (Co-Organiser/Driver) Mercedes G Wagen 300
Nicholas has been a good friend of John & Janet for over 15years; as co-organiser/driver his job will be to study and plan the route to assist with the minute to minute driving and upcoming obstacles. Having had plenty of 'off road experience' on raids and treks throughout France. Having already owned a Mercedes G-wagen for 9 years he knows the vehicle and how it behaves but also has experience if anything should go wrong mechanically. Nicholas has a Masters degree in Criminal Psychology so if he cannot help practically he will be able to keep everyone calm or work out what the opposing teams are thinking and outwit them:-) Nicholas is a business partner with JJ.
Rob Marshall (Co-Organiser/Tech Support)
Rob’s involvement in the tevent to maintain the website and to keep friends, family and sponsors up to date with the progress. Rob will be writing the daily travel blog for the event and resolve any technical issues that may arise. Rob is overseeing routes and accomodation. Rob is 27 years old, a sincere supporter for the Sea Shepherd whale warriors and currently lives in Texas USA with his American Wife Clarissa.
George Carter (Logistics)
George is 29 years old and has served in the United States Army for 12
years. George is in the medical field and has been to Iraq and Kuwait in
support of Operation Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. George has served with a
multitude of British Soldiers in both countries and has a great respect for
the support in the War on Terrorism. George grew up in Fort Worth Texas
and has a bachelors of science in Nutrition. He is currently pursuing a
Masters degree in business administration with a concentration in
marketing.
Maurice (Mo) Hu (Logistics)
Mo’s contribution to the team is to make sure the team has the right gear for the task at hand, from the crucial vehicle components to the appropriate camping equipment. Maurice's role is to provide information on route maps, times, distance and any necessary data from the start of the gruelling expedition to the finish. Maurice is 26 yrs of age, born and raised in Texas. He has a Biology degree from the University of Texas, and was working as a pharmaceutical representative most recently. He has been to 9 different countries spanning from South America, Europe and Asia, He is a usefull asset to the expedition..
Adrian Wilkinson (Co-Organiser/Driver)
Adrian contribution to raising funds for Help for Heroes is outstanding. His organisation skills are unquestionable and he likes the odd glass of champagne! Adrian drives a Range Rover Sport. He lives in Deal.
